7:00 am NBC Weekend Today "Today" brings the Big Easy to the Plaza by celebrating Mardi Gras in traditional Creole fashion with beads, masks, food and floats. The New Orleans bash will begin with a parade featuring the New Trad Octet marching band and three of the famous Kern Studios floats -- the King, the Jester and the Fatty Ox. Then, Mardi Gras expert Arthur Hardy will discuss the history and traditions of Mardi Gras festivities. In addition chef Tory McPhail of the renowned Commander’s Palace restaurant in New Orleans will make spectacular southern cuisine including corn-fried oyster po’boys and boiled crawfish. Then, Buckwheat Zydeco, a band that has become synonymous with Louisiana and Mardi Gras will perform funky Creole party music live on the Plaza

"Louisiana Jukebox Live" airs each Friday at 8:00 pm on Cox 10 in metro New Orleans. Replay times are Sundays at 10:30 pm, Tuesdays at 12:00 pm and 8:00 pm, and Thursdays at 12:00 pm and 10:30 pm. Non-cable broadcast viewers throughout New Orleans, the Northshore and parts of Mississippi can also catch the show on UPN-54 at midnight on Sundays.

"Louisiana Jukebox Live" is also rebroadcast weekly in Shreveport, LA; Opelousas, LA; Memphis, TN; and Cleveland, OH. It can also be seen on Cox Communications channel 4 in Baton Rouge on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm and Sunday nights at 11:00 pm. Beginning this season "Louisiana Jukebox Live" can also be seen on Cox Communications channel 35 in Northern Virginia (Fairfax County).
