[5] Lainey Wilson hosted the 2025 CMA Awards and also performed at the event. She was named Female Vocalist of the Year Award for the 4th year in a row. Brooks & Dunn were named Vocal Duo of the Year for the 16th time. That win brought their all-time CMA awards total to 20, breaking the record for most-ever wins at the awards show. Louisiana natives Jordan Davis and Lauren Daigle presented the award for Vocal Group of the Year.
