- Jimmy Buffett Added
Jimmy Buffett has been added to the 2012 Jazz Fest lineup. He will play an acoustic set with Mac McAnally on May 3rd (taking Eddie Vedder's spot).

- Preservation Hall Jazz Band & Friends
The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, celebrating their 50th anniversary, will be joined by a slew of friends when they close out Jazz Fest on the Gentilly Stage (Sunday, May 6th, 5:35pm). Scheduled guests joining PHJB include Steve Earle, Jim James (My Morning Jacket), Ani DiFranco, Allen Toussaint, Trombone Shorty, Bonnie Raitt, Wendell Eugene, Lionel Ferbos, and more TBA.

- 2012 Jazz Fest Tickets
Tickets for Jazz Fest are on sale now at Ticketmaster and the New Orleans Arena box office.
Single Day Tickets are $50 in advance. They will cost $65 if purchased at the Gate.
3 VIP Packages are also available: Big Chief VIP Experience, Grand Marshal VIP Pass, and Krewe of Jazz Fest VIP Pass.
- Jazz Fest Performers by Date
The Jazz & Heritage Festival has released a list of Jazz Fest Performers by Date. The complete daily schedules with times & stages will be announced at a later date.
- Cee Lo added, John Mayer & Jill Scott dropped
Grammy winner Cee Lo Green has been added to the 2012 Jazz Fest lineup. He will perform on Saturday, April 28th in place of Jill Scott who will no longer be appearing.
Headliner John Mayer has also been scratched from Jazz Fest. The singer songwriter announced an indefinite hiatus from live performing due to vocal cord problems (granuloma). We wish Mayer well in his treatment, and hope to see him back at Jazz Fest in the near future.
- 2012 Jazz Fest Posters
The official 2012 Jazz & Heritage Festival poster features NOLA superstar Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews. Andrews was previously featured on the 2009 Congo Square poster. The 2012 Congo Square poster features local trumpet great Shamarr Allen.
- Grammy Winners at Jazz Fest
Congratulations to New Orleans' own Rebirth Brass Band for their Grammy win in the Best Regional Roots Music Album category for their 2011 release "Rebirth of New Orleans." Other 2012 Jazz Fest performers that picked up Grammy Awards include Foo Fighters (x5), Bon Iver (x2), Cee Lo Green (x2), Levon Helm, and Terri Lyne Carrington.
- Bruce Springsteen added to Fest Lineup
Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band have been added to the 2012 Jazz Fest lineup. Springsteen will perform on Sunday, April 29th. Check out the Boss's new single, "We Take Care of Our Own." - Eddie Vedder added to Fest Lineup
Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has been added to the 2012 Jazz Fest lineup for Thursday, May 3rd. Vedder will be touring the southern U.S. in April and May in support his 2011 solo album, "Ukulele Songs." See more Eddie Vedder tour dates.

- The Beach Boys at Jazz Fest
Founding members of The Beach Boys will reunite for a 50th Anniversary Celebration in 2012. Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, and David Marks will come together for a new studio album and a 50-date international tour to begin in April with a headlining performance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. - 2012 Jazz Fest Gala
The 14th Annual Jazz and Heritage Gala is set for April 26, 2012, at the New Orleans Hilton Riverside Hotel. The 2012 Gala will feature music from Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews and Big Sam's Funky Nation. Tickets are $500, which includes a 7-day pass to the 2012 Jazz & Heritage Festival. - Sync Up 2012
Sync Up - the Jazz & Heritage Foundation's annual entertainment industry conference - is set for April 27-28 and May 4-5, 2012 at the New Orleans Museum of Art. Featured speakers this year include Tim Westergren, Daniel Glass, Tom Windish, and Bruce Houghton.
