Mickey Gilley was born in Natchez, MS and grew up in Ferriday, LA with cousins Jerry Lee Lewis and Jimmy Swaggart. Britney Spears was born in McComb, MS and grew up in Kentwood, LA. Louis Prima received his Hollywood Walk of Fame star posthumously. The dedication ceremony was attended by his son Louis Prima Jr., and his daughter Lena Prima.
Entertainer and comedienne Ellen DeGeneres (born in Metairie, LA in 1958) was inducted to the Walk of Fame on September 4, 2012.
