Best American Roots Performance award winner "Stompin' Ground" features Aaron Neville, Ivan Neville, Cyril Neville, Ian Neville, George Porter Jr., Eric Krasno, Terence Higgins, Fancy Clemons, Anjelika Jelly Joseph, Erica Falls, Big Sam Williams, and Dirty Dozen Brass Band's Greg Davis, Kirk Joseph, Roger Lewis, Kevin Harris, and Efrem Towns. Cécile McLorin Salvant's album "Ghost Song" was nominated for Best Jazz Vocal Album. NOLA native Sullivan Fortner co-produced the album and he is featured on several tracks. Arcade Fire's "We" was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album. Recording sessions took place in New Orleans (Boombox Studios, Marigny Studios), and at Dockside Studio (Maurice, LA).
